Does the University Archives have old course syllabi?
Answer
No, the University Archives does not have an archive of course syllabi. In rare cases, we will have syllabi from faculty members who have donated their papers to the University Archives. To see if we have a faculty member’s papers, you can search our collections here: https://findingaids.library.cmu.edu/
Alternatively, you can search this registry with your Andrew ID if you are affiliated with CMU. Please note, the faculty member is responsible for depositing syllabi in the registry. It is not comprehensive. https://www.cmu.edu/syllabusregistry/
We recommend contacting the school or professor to see if they have a copy of the syllabus.
